    glasgow misfortune

a big thanks to jack for being kind enough to talk to me and explain the unfortunate cancellation of the concert at glasgow's oran mor.

i'm sure we'll get to see you as a headline act back in scotland before too long !

What happened? I travelled all the way from Aberdeen for the Gig to see Jack. Actually purchased the tickets thinking he was headlining!!

Had a nightmare of a journey that included 3 hours waiting for a breakdown pickup, a hour in a cold trainstation in Stonehaven, finally got a train to glasow and if by some miracle made it for opening doors!!

Good gig, impressed by support band and Sam Sparro was pretty good if a little short on material. But where was Jack!?? had to laugh at some of the wee lassies behind us, who pissed up on cider refused to go unless jack sang!! An announcement might have been useful!

Unfortunately the bus bringing Jack and Sam to Glasgow broke down and it took them nineteen hours to reach Glasgow and they only arrived just before the concert was due to start. You wouldn't think that was a major problem in a normal venue but the Oran Mor has a ridiculous 10 pm curfew which means that concerts have to finish by then and there was just no time to get both Jack and Sam on stage in the limited time available

I agree an announcement would have been nice !

Jack was kind enough to chat to me and was gutted at not being able to perform as it wasn't his fault !!
